Argha Noah is proud to announce that New York-based artists and social entrepreneurs Luke Namer and Daniel Halper will join us, September 24th, for two unreleased film screenings and an interactive brainstorming session for optimal collaboration.
Their work focuses on collectively tackling challenges throughout the world through documentary filmmaking and changemaking activities. This project is a one-stop experience that falls in line with a cross-country U.S tour.

Himalayan Grains Synopsis: Dr. Suman Sahai, a scientist and farmer rights advocate, leads a women's agriculture movement in northern India to revitalize ancient grains, and bring economic power to marginalized women.
Steep Education Synopsis: Moe Di, a 14-year-old tea shop worker in Yangon, Myanmar, gets permission to leave his job working in the city to visit home for the day. He's joined by Tim-Aye Hardy, an exiled Burmese activist who recently returned home to create the Myanmar Mobile Education (MyME) project, which provides non-formal education to young children working and living in tea shops for less than $1 a day.
